About Phuket

There are many reasons that make Phuket an attractive location for your permanent home, holiday place or base to spend your retirement.

The pearl of Andaman as many called it, is Thailand’s largest island, about the size of Singapore. Nestled in flagrant Andaman sea waters on the Indian Ocean, it is blessed with wonderful coves and bays, powdery and palm-fringed white beaches, sparkling island-dotted seas, sincerely hospitable people, superb accommodations and seafood, delightful turn-of-the century Sino-Portuguese architecture, numerous sporting and leisure opportunities, and a lush tropical landscape – all of which combine to create a delightful ambience for a truly memorable getaway.

As one of the Asia’s premier resort island, Phuket features an amazing natural beauty including marvelous beaches, stunning diving, luxury hotels and spas, magnificent golf courses, yacht marinas, a large choice of top class restaurants, vibrant nightlife and excellent shopping.

From a real estate point of view it is one of the fastest growing markets in the world with an increasing amount of high standard projects by well-renowned property developers. Environmentally-friendly planning laws and height restrictions ensure that developments are low key and low density.

As the jewel in the crown of Thailand’s tourism industry, Phuket is Thailand’s wealthiest province receiving a high protection and investment from the central government in Bangkok.

Another attracting fact is the very low cost of living compared to Europe or other resort destinations. If we believe the magazine Fortune, Phuket is one of the top five places to retire to, a place “where you can still live like a king on your savings”.

For transportation, The Phuket International Airport is located in the north of the island. There are many scheduled flights and chartered flights from domestics and other countries in Asia, Australia, Europe and North America landing in Phuket. The airport commenced a 5.7 billion baht (US$185.7 million) expansion in September 2012, scheduled for completion in April 2015. The airport will increase its annual handling capacity from 6.5 million to 12.5 million passengers, and add a new international terminal.

Phuket has it all to give you this great home in a stunning tropical background you always dreamed of.
